I believe that people who enjoy riding motorcycles cherish their beloved cars, and the correct maintenance methods are extremely important. Next, let's learn a few tips on motorcycle maintenance.

1. Friction period

The motorcycle running-in period is a crucial stage, and the first 1500 kilometers of the newly purchased motorcycle are very important. It is recommended not to use the motorcycle at full load during this stage, and the speed in each gear should not exceed the limit of that gear as much as possible, which can improve the motorcycle's service life.

2. Preheating

When riding a motorcycle in summer, it is generally recommended to preheat it for about 1 minute in advance, while in winter, it is better to warm it up for more than 3 minutes, which can provide some protection for various components of the motorcycle. When preheating a motorcycle, it should be done at idle speed or at low throttle. During preheating, it can be combined with the throttle and throttle to maintain a non stalling preheating, and the preheating time should not be too long. When the engine has a slight temperature, you can first pull on the ignition valve (to prevent stalling) and slowly drive at low speed for a while. If the engine operation gradually stabilizes during the journey, pull back the damper and drive normally. Do not hit the car with a high throttle during preheating, otherwise it will increase engine wear and may even cause serious malfunctions.

3. Cleaning

When riding a motorcycle, pay attention to frequent cleaning to reduce dust accumulation and improve the efficiency of motorcycle use.

4. Adding lubricating oil

The replacement of motorcycle oil should mainly consider factors such as mileage, frequency of use, refueling time, and oil quality. The actual maintenance is based on mileage. Under normal circumstances, it is recommended to replace the motorcycle oil every thousand kilometers according to the new car's break-in period. Beyond the break-in period, the lubricant we add to the engine can be maintained within 2000KM.

5. Don't rush to open the switch

When preparing to ride, do not rush to turn on the motorcycle switch. First, press the pedal several times to allow the cylinder to absorb more combustible mixture. Then, turn the key to the ignition position and finally start. This method is particularly suitable for safe starting of motorcycles in winter.

6. Tires

Motorcycle tires often come into contact with various road surfaces every day and are damaged by factors such as stones and glass. Their performance status directly affects the driver's handling and comfort of the vehicle. Therefore, checking motorcycle tires before riding can help improve driving safety.
